Monarch Thank You

Hey Everyone!  Thanks for stopping by again.  
I am glad to be back to share another card with you!
I hope that you aren't getting bored of seeing Thank You Cards, as there are going to be some more coming up over the next couple days because like I've mentioned before I am working my way through a couple card orders and some of the cards are thank you cards.  I am making multiples of the cards that you are seeing, and keeping a couple in my stash, because lets be honest, one can never have enough Thank You Cards on hand!

Again for this card I used oranges, and yellows and blacks.  All of which are colours that I don't usually use together, so I thought that I would step outside the box and try something a little bit different!

I hope that you enjoy this card...its super simple, but I wanted to keep the focus on the Butterfly!

Supplies Used

Paper Trimmer - used to cut the card base and embossed background
Waterbrush - used to paint the distressing ink and the distressed stain onto the butterfly
Mini Mister - used to add moisture and water to the distressing ink and distressing stain
Bone Folder - used to crease and fold the card base
Tim Holtz Scissors - used to cut the ribbon, and used to fussy cut the butterfly out
Ranger Matte Medium - used to attach the butterfly and the flourish to the front of the card
Foam Adhesive - used to add dimension to the back of the sentiment
Double Sided Tape - used to attach the embossed background to the card base
Acrylic Block - used to attach the sentiment to and stamp onto the card front
Powder Tool - used to ensure that the embossing powder only sticks to the embossing ink
MFT Pierced Rectange Die - used to cut out the sentiment and the sentiment backing
Flourishes Die - used for the black swirl on the card front
Sizzix / Stampin Up Embossing Folder - used to pinch the paper and background with the design (couldn't find a link to the exact product, but linked to something similar)
Heat Gun - used to heat and melt the embossing powder on the butterfly wings
Cuttlebug Machine - used with the embossing folder and die cuts to create the pieces of this card
Distressed Stain - used to help change the colours of the distress inks to give gradients of orange
Distress Ink - used to colour the butterflies wings with
MFT Ink - used to stamp the butterfly and the sentiment in
Under Construction - Butterfly - stamp used for the main image on the card (not able to link to this product as this company is no longer in business)
Inkadinkado - Thank You Words 60-30069 - used to stamp the sentiment on the front of the card
Clear Embossing Powder - used to emboss the butterfly with
Orange Ribbon -  used to help embellish the front of the card
White Cardstock - used for the card base and the embossed background
Water Colour Cardstock - used to stamp the butterfly on allowing me to watercolour it
Black Cardstock - used to cut out the flourish on the front of the card.
Orange Cardstock - used for the mat on the sentiment on the front of the card
